Dr Mark Hohenberg, FRACP

Dr Mark Hohenberg completed medical school at the University of London (University College London). He moved to Australia in 2008, where he completed his basic and specialist training in hospitals in and around Sydney and New South Wales.
In addition to his private practice, Mark holds several positions including Chief Medical Officer of Curiious, a technology firm exploring the use of Virtual Reality in Healthcare; Clinical Associate, Dementia Support Australia; and academic positions with Western Sydney University, UNSW, and The Asia University of Taiwan. Mark is also active in research and is involved as Principal Investigator for dementia and other neurodegenerative clinical trials.
Mark is a highly trained consultant geriatrician who specialises in diagnosing and treating patients with ageing-related diseases to promote independence and stability. He also treats under 65-year-olds to help with cognition and health promotion.
“For someone who is worried about their future, particularly with existing or potential medical problems, my aim is to explore the issues they may be facing and mitigate them now before they become an issue for the future.”
Mark aims to understand his patient’s goals and merge these with evidence-based practice. This includes maintaining health and independence overall, and more specific goals such as reducing the number of medications taken. Mark communicates with his patients every step along their health journey.

Dr Angela Khoo, FRACP

Dr Angela Khoo completed her training in the greater Sydney area and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2008.
Angela has been instrumental in shaping the delivery of public services to seniors in the greater Sydney area. She established the Multidisciplinary Aged Care Cancer Clinic (MACCS) – for the assessment and clinical support of older people with lung cancer and frailty, developed and provided medical governance for Care in the Community (CIC), an Allied Health-led program to provide community-based care in response to COVID-19 pandemic, she established a Multidisciplinary Falls Clinic for community-dwelling older people with falls and established and provided ongoing medical leadership and clinical support for Aged Care Rapid Investigation and Assessment unit (ARIA) which provides up-front comprehensive geriatric assessment in the emergency department and management of patients within a short stay ward.
Angela is an experienced geriatrician who is committed to providing holistic, multidisciplinary, individualised assessment and care to seniors.
“I believe in optimising each patient’s quality of life through supporting them and their carers through individualised care plans and education.”
Angela aims to provide patients and their carers clarity to support decision making through careful assessment and accurate diagnosis. Her goal is to give patients more time to enjoy their best quality of life, either by improving and/or halting the decline in health.

Dr David Conforti, FRACP

Dr David Conforti is a member of the Royal Australasian Society of Geriatric Medicine, and is a Senior Lecturer, University of NSW.
David served as Director of Aged Care and Rehabilitation Medicine Liverpool/Fairfield, Acting Deputy Clinical Director Geriatric Medicine (Central and Southern Clusters), Aged Care and Rehabilitation Stream; Western Zone Director of Aged Care SSWAHS Director of Aged Care, and for nearly 20 years was Senior Staff Specialist, Geriatric Medicine at Liverpool Hospital. During this time, he participated in more than 30 advisory committees shaping service delivery across New South Wales. He has contributed to more than twenty publications with an emphasis on the development of assessments, notably co-developing Rowland Universal Dementia Assessment Scale (RUDAS): A Multicultural Mini Mental State Examination.
David is a seasoned Geriatrician who undertakes comprehensive assessments and collaborates with patients and their carers on the development of individualised care plans, including advanced care directives.

David strives to make patients and carers comfortable with the long assessment and first review. Building on his interest and expertise in developing models of care and services to help older people, he works closely with referring GPs and to ensure well-coordinated ongoing care.

Arsho finds fulfillment in being able to provide support to individuals and help them gain psychological insight. Developing an understanding of how they become who they are, she facilitates in helping set career and life goals and helps them discover their full potential.

Olivia is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Exercise & Sport Scientist. Embarking on her own fitness journey, which sparked her passion for the health industry. She has been working in the health and fitness industry since 2016 and has experience in private practice, group classes, home visits, personal training, and gymnastics coaching. She has provided care and treatment to a vast range of clientele, including those with cognitive impairment, neurological conditions, cardio-metabolic conditions, musculoskeletal injuries as well as over 65s, pre- and post-operative patients and cancer patients.
Olivia uses exercise as a form of treatment to aid in the healing of injuries, management of medical conditions including chronic disease or illness, and disabilities. She believes that health is the most valuable possession in life and that everyone should have the opportunity to become the healthiest versions of themselves.
“I have a deep passion for the health and fitness industry and deeply believe that exercise is the answer to a lot of issues and health conditions. Exercise Physiology gives everyone and opportunity to become healthier, fitter and tackle life more positively.
